§ About — Ines Calder
Lisbon, Portugal
A one-person studio for brands that would rather be remembered.

I’m Ines — a designer who believes the best brands feel less like logos and more like places you want to return to.
For the last ten years I’ve worked with ceramicists, publishers, festivals and the occasional stubborn start-up. I run a deliberately small studio: one designer, a handful of trusted collaborators and a long table covered in printouts.
When I’m not at the desk I’m usually in a print shop, a second-hand bookshop or a ceramics studio, arguing with myself about kerning.
§ 01 — Principles
Three things I won’t compromise on.
01
Slow is a feature
Good work takes the time it takes. I would rather do six projects well a year than twenty adequately.
02
Ideas before aesthetics
Every project starts with one sentence about what it should make people feel. The visuals follow that sentence.
03
Made to be touched
Even the digital work is designed as if it might be printed, held and kept.

§ 03 — Experience

§ 04 — Recognition
Kind words
Recognition entries are fictional demo content — replace with your own or remove the section.
